Living in the modern chaos and the big city life often make you lose control of the present moment and what is going on around. Worries, problems, speed, endless distractions, preoccupations, not enough time, take us away from the here and now often referred as hectic modern life. What to do instead?
Urban life in the recent decades became an increasing phenomenon leading to large cities getting even bigger and bigger, growing to the point that, for instance, housing is becoming a global problem in condensed populations around the globe. More over, living costs rise too with the increasing number of people demanding for a product or service. Of course, living in the modern city has multiple advantages and benefits, however, there is also the other side of the coin associated, the ugly face of of the modern chaos

Additionally, such a reality faces an ambiguity indirectly proportional: while prices go up, time seems to be in total scarcity more than ever. As large metropolitan cities become bigger and bigger we “need” more time to move around the city and more hours to work as the living cost in the city increase significantly in the recents years. On top of that, we all know that time is the only resource that we will never get it back. Once it is gone, it is gone for ever. This is why time became “as the new priceless currency”.
The inevitable result of such a reality is that often, people live in worries, preoccupations, stress and anxiety leading to live “mentally absent”. The good thing is that the moment you realise that your “worries or distractions” take you somewhere else, in that moment paradoxically you are present again”. When that happens, remember to make the 5 conscious breaths shown in the info graph to regain presence and control over your thoughts, feelings, emotions and clarity.
